Katarzyna Koszel-Zawadka

For over 15 years, Katarzyna has advised both domestic and international investors on the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate, including shopping centres, office buildings and logistics facilities. Her practice also covers ongoing advisory in commercial and civil law, with a strong focus on joint ventures within the commercial property sector.

She has taken part in numerous real estate financing and refinancing transactions, as well as due diligence processes involving companies, real estate assets and wind farms. Her expertise spans real estate title matters, lease and tenancy agreements, corporate structures and intellectual property rights.

Recognised as a leading expert in real estate law, she has been consistently recommended by The Legal 500 ranking. She is also a regular speaker and moderator at industry conferences and serves as a mentor in the Top Women in Real Estate programme.

In 2022, she was appointed a Partner at the firm, and since 2023, she has been heading the Warsaw office of Baker Tilly Legal Poland.

Katarzyna is a graduate of the University of Warsaw and completed the Center for American Law Studies, a joint programme with the University of Florida.
