Katarzyna Chwalbińska-Kusek

Katarzyna Chwalbińska-Kusek is a Partner and Head of ESG Advisory at Baker Tilly TPA. With over 20 years of experience, she advises Polish and international organisations on business strategy, sustainability, decarbonisation, risk management and ESG reporting. She is also responsible for the strategic business development of Baker Tilly TPA, contributing to the organisation’s long-term growth and direction. 

She specialises in integrating ESG considerations into business models and supporting management boards in making decisions that strengthen competitiveness, mitigate regulatory risks and create long-term value. She advises clients on preparing for regulatory requirements, developing and implementing ESG strategies, and reporting in accordance with EU regulations and international standards. 

She serves as Chair of the global ESG Assurance Group at Baker Tilly International, contributing to the development of international standards and practices in ESG assurance. She gained her professional experience at international advisory firms, where she developed and implemented ESG strategies for leading international real estate developers, investment funds, and property owners. In 2023, she chaired the working group responsible for developing sector-specific guidelines for the EU Taxonomy at the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology. 

She is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, Westminster Business School, and Lazarski University. She holds the Global Sustainability Professional (GRI) accreditation and the Chartered Marketer (CIM) designation. 

She is fluent in English and has professional working proficiency in French.
