Maciej Owczarewicz

Maciej Owczarewicz is an attorney-at-law and Of Counsel at Baker Tilly Legal Poland. 

He specializes in capital markets law, including regulatory matters concerning financial institutions, as well as private equity and venture capital transactions. 

He has been active in the capital markets since 2001. He is also a certified mediator. 

He gained his experience at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, then as an advisor to the Minister of the Treasury, and in subsequent years cooperated with the Warsaw office of an international law firm and held managerial positions on the management boards of investment fund management companies and a brokerage house. 

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and completed his prosecutorial training at the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin. 

He is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association. 

He is fluent in English.
