Maciej Owczarewicz
Maciej specializes in capital markets law, including regulatory matters of financial institutions as well as private equity and venture capital transactions. He has been involved with the capital market since 2001, initially as an employee of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. In 2004–2005, he served as an Advisor to the Minister of State Treasury.
He also cooperated with the Capital Markets Department of the Warsaw office of an international law firm (2005–2010). Between 2011 and 2018, he held managerial positions on the boards of financial institutions – investment fund companies and a brokerage house.
He graduated in law from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and subsequently completed a prosecutorial traineeship at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin. He is a member of the Regional Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law in Warsaw.
He is fluent in English.
